Profile Information

How long have you been painting? Doing any kind of art?
I loved painting at school but did not have the chance to carry on once I left, too many family problems. I painted a little over 20 years ago then stopped and started again 15 months ago when I retired.
What other mediums have you used?
Watercolours, a little oil pastels and soft pastels.
Are their specific things you would like to learn?
Not at the moment just feeling my fingers and getting used to the medium. I am loving it.

Moved Home

We have just spent 3 months in temporary digs as we sold our house and have just moved into our new home a bungalow.  While in digs I did loads of reading, bought 3 crossword books and I also bought myself a colouring book to keep me occupied as we had no wifi and only free TV viewing.  There wasn't much else we could do other then daily walks on the shore.  We still have about 501 things to do so it will be summer time before I can think of painting again, we are still upside down as we are…

Injured Finger

I have been idle for the past two weeks because I sliced a bit of my right index finger and it has only just healed properly.  I am painting A Garden in Summer taken template from my own garden.  It has many layers some are thick with texture so having to wait for the paint to dry between them.  I am having great fun.

I am fitter than I was six months ago although not entirely back to total fitness, but now I must get painting again because my fingers are twitching and I am now at a loss for things to do and getting bored. lol

Hello, just thought I would drop in to say hello and let you know how my fitness is going. I have been exercising about 4-5 days a week doing easy stretches and warm up and cool down exercises of 20 mins, I can feel the difference and my body is loosening up and the stiff ness has gone, still get pains in my let I suspect I will have to see the doctor about that. I am feeling better in myself and have just started 10 mins of easy dance to get me moving even more. I have done a couple of videos… Continue
