This one went quickly and was fun. Instead of objects, I painted values,hues, and shapes. It is 8x10 on stretched canvas.

The two tall ones are bald cypress trees. The shoreline is covered withsilver buttonwood. The painting is 12x16 on stretched canvas.

Coming Home

"Thank you! If you live in a rural or suburban community in Florida, your mail is delivered to a metal box set atop a pole. I painted one on the right side near the end of the road. A dagger brush enabled me to paint the palm fronds wider at the top…"

I recently purchased a dagger brush. It certainly helped when I did thebrown palm fronds! This is a 12x16 canvas.
