So one of the things you don't really think about when starting to sell your paintings. TAXES! I spend a good week every year trying to pull together my sales and expense info in order to do my taxes. The funny part of this is that I am a bookkeeper in my day job! I can set up a company and take care of everything from bills to payroll. Yet I always seem to leave it all for the end of the year in my own business!

I have been away from my easel for probably 10 days at this point, because of the move to Portland. It is amazing how much my painting keeps my centered. I am a sad person by nature. Hi everyone. I wanted to stop a minute in all the chaos right now to let you know why I'm behind in getting the April Class video up! I'm moving! My husband's job is taking us to Portland, Oregon. It's about 160 miles from where we are now. He's already up there working, so that means I'm packing up the house. And downsizing!
