Summer Pond WIP

Not sure where you go to find blogs (at least I have not seen any on this site yet...could have missed them) So I thought I would start one on my page and post my acrylic work in progress of Karen's Summer Pond lesson.The colour of the painting, is much nicer than the photo...long way to go on this...I am slow at painting so will probably take me a few days to complete - also always trying to fit painting time into my schedule...even though I am retired, not enough hours in the day…

Just. Keep. Painting.

I have been away from my easel for probably 10 days at this point, because of the move to Portland. It is amazing how much my painting keeps my centered. I am a sad person by nature. It's just what I was born with, my default emotion. When I paint, that cloud lifts. I feel lighter and a smile comes easily to me. April Classroom and Moving!

Hi everyone. I wanted to stop a minute in all the chaos right now to let you know why I'm behind in getting the April Class video up! I'm moving! My husband's job is taking us to Portland, Oregon. It's about 160 miles from where we are now. He's already up there working, so that means I'm packing up the house. And downsizing! We are having a big garage sale this weekend in an attempt to weed out some stuff. Which is hardest on my husband with his 500 square foot shop and 2 car garage that…
