Hi Tony; welcome to Karen's site!  We have a lot of fun while learning from one another in the process.

Karen has some demo projects with water, trees, and rocks.  You may find them a help.  A professional friend told me there is only one way to get comfortable doing rocks; he spent an entire summer doing nothing else!  I am not that dedicated, but practice and patience eventually wins out.

If you post a piece under "Discussions" you will get friendly critiques and feedback, posts under "Photos" may get some high fives, but no critiques.  By seeing what you are doing, it is easier to offer specific help.
