The red tree lesson

I had the lesson and altered the piece a bit.  My lopsided tree looks like a large bush.  I found that I could follow Karens teaching and actually make the painting  fly by.Continue

Profile Information

How long have you been painting? Doing any kind of art?
2 days with painting, long time drawing, sculpting and carving. Never gotten in a gallery or published. I am a lapidary artist by trade. Have done a few shows.
What other mediums have you used?
ink pens, pencil, crayons.
Are their specific things you would like to learn?
good basics and a foundation for painting, color mixing, value studies, brush techniques.
