"Nice one Mike! Love the rich color and nice sense of light. This is a beauty just the way it is!
I would say be careful of the value of that birch tree. It seems a bit light for being in shadow.
The trees feel like they are all lined up along the…"
"My paintings have been in storage since we moved here in February (Baltimore County MD). I wanted to display them but didn't wasn't to put a couple dozen holes in my freshly-painted walls. I ordered a lil and cable system from…"
"Wow! I like the sky much better on this one. The sea foam looks great too Wenda. The sea looks more undulating now and the rocks don't look as harsh. I think you hit a homer on the 2nd go-around. I would hang this…"

How long have you been painting? Doing any kind of art?
Five Years. I received a cancer diagnosis prior to that and I find that painting is the perfect therapy for me. I have no background in art prior to that. I mostly do landscapes and seascapes.
What other mediums have you used?
Graphite and charcoal sketching.
Are their specific things you would like to learn?
Glazing techniques, water surfaces, composition, light, knife work.
Where did you learn about this website?
I took a tutorial from Karen on a craft site and I liked her style and teaching method. It was a tutorial where her neighborhood was the painting subject. I liked the thought processes that went into her painting. I have since watched YT videos of Karen and then I discovered this site. To me, she is to acrylics what Bob Ross was to oils.
