"This is really nice. I like that you included your progress. There is so much energy in this painting, it is like the viewer is at the flower market. No, you are not alone in your struggles. This painting is very nice!"
"This is nice, Linda! The barn caught me eye, there are a few of them around where I live. This made me think you are a neighbor! :) Your grasses are great! I think you did a good job on this painting."
"Wow, thank all of you for your wonderful compliments and kind words! Like many others, I am still learning. Your words, however really made my day! Thank you! This was my first challenge, and yes, a challenge!!! A lot of changes, re doing colors,…"
"Hi Emma, I think you've done a great job with this. Your hills are nicely pulled back in space creating lovely depth. Love your trees in their Fall glory and that path off to the left really has me curious as to what it leads. Nice job!!"

I have worked and reworked these colors. I am going to call it done. I did remove the path, which I could not get right. I still have a long way to go in the learning process. I really enjoyed trying this challenge. Thank you!
How long have you been painting? Doing any kind of art?
Beginner, It's been a while, Occasional Painter
What other mediums have you used?
Are their specific things you would like to learn?
Composition, balance, just about everything that I need to grow and become a good painter/artist. My last art lessons were in high school, which has been several years ago. I have watched a couple of your videos, and I like the information you add as you paint.
You are most welcome Emma! That's the nice thing about this site, when you don't have time to actually paint, at least you can watch and comment on what other member's are doing. And watch videos and read blogs to stay inspired.
Let me know if you have any questions or I can help in any way. Also please feel free to start a discussion in the "Discussions and Critique" tab if you would like comments and help with your paintings! We'd love to hear your comments on other people's discussions as well. Just jump right in :)
