I painted the majority of this with sponges. A tiny portion where the trees
meet the sky was done with a small brush. It was painted on a 8x10 canvas
with acrylic.

Thank you. I was using sponges, so I didn't feel nervous about the outcome. I could always blame it on the sponges!

I've painted only six original works of  which I've posted four on this  site. In my two years of trying to paint, all

of my others were done from following along with videos.

Wow, what a cool way to apply the paint, I had no idea you could get those nice effects with a sponge. It has a great tonal quality, like a Whistler. I especially like the sky reflection on the water.
