"The Gap" (Redux)

After following Karen's tips, I am happier with the outcome of my painting. I added more color to the sky and knocked back the fields and mountains. I was amazed at how my focal point (the geese and gap) really popped.

The colour is what is lifting this painting and drawing you into it. Well done.

Mike - I think your finished painting is absolutely beautiful. That sky is breathtaking and the geese look so realistic.  I also love the way you handled the foreground grasses.  Well done!!

Very nice Mike, yes the focal point really works. I like your use of color especially the orange sky and reflections
