Thanks for your comments Deborah, this painting has been through several iterations, one even had Hoppers lighthouse on the right hand side.

This came out very well Ian! I love the simplicity of the composition...very effective and very Hopper-like.  In fact this has the look and feel of Hopper's historic house on Cape Cod.  Well done.
