Thanks for taking the time to view and comment on my painting. I appreciate it so much. Wenda, I estimate that this piece took about 50 hours of painting time to complete. But just about everything I paint I am painting for the first time. I'm teaching myself so it takes a lot of time and trial and error. I notice that I have become more efficient with certain elements that I have painted before. So perhaps I'll get faster with more experience. But I really do love the process.....I kind of get into the zone and I paint with enormous enjoyment and the hours fly by.

Very nice Deborah I love how the stone block grabs your attention and leads you in to the painting. Great detail and colours.

A study in texture and detail for sure! wood, siding, cement, rock, grass. All lovingly rendered! Great job!

Deborah, I love this! you pay so much attention to detail! you bring us such beautiful paintings :) I cant make grass look like that lol I keep trying to improve. that's all anyone can do I guess. how many hours do you have in this painting? if you care to give out that information. fantastic work, thanks for sharing.

Wow, how gorgeous! Every little detail has been brought to life. You must steady hands like a surgeon to get all of those clapboards and shingles so straight and perfectly shadowed. It's an impressive piece!

Wow, Deborah - this is fantastic.  The beautiful grasses and paths, the siding - the peeling paint - I love it all.  Great realism!

Love this painting and all the textures. There is so much reality here. Feels like you could just walk into the scene.
