Mist & Sun WIP

For this one I began with a grisaille (natural umber). Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of this stage.
90% of the time I was using a large flat brush (1"), 5% a fan brush and the rest of time a small brush for details. Actually I use two brushes at the same time, one for light colors, the other for dark colors.
The little yellow dots are made with an acrylic marker
My goal was to have strong contrats between almost black shadows and pure white on the reflections on water. I think it's a simple way to get a strong impact.
