Thanks Philippe. You may be waiting a long time to see what I can do when I feel more free. I'm 62 and have been waiting for that all my life. Just not my style I guess.

This is a perfection. What can we add? Not only details are awesome, but the composition is great too.

(Now you have a perfect mastery of composition, drawing, colours, values, I would like to see what you are able to do when you feel more free)

David a very nice effort, amazing detail and you have captured the temperature  superbly. Well done.

Wow.  It's all so good, but really love the water and ice.  Really unique composition too.  Can't wait to see your next one.

This one is amazing David! Love your realistic detail and the industrial feel. Beautiful job on the water and ice, I also like exploring the background as it recedes through all the metal structures.

Congrats on your retirement, hope to see a lot more of your fine work.

I'm hoping that "retiring" means you'll have more time for painting.  This is beautiful.  Your colors, the water and reflections, the detail is amazing and the composition/subject is different.  Hope to see more of your work David.

David - this is incredible - your realism is amazing.  Everything is so well done from the bridges and buildings to that cold, icy water.  Wonderful!
