Philippe, this is really really nice. I love the colors, everything blends so nicely, and the way you did her face and clothes are lovely.

Hi Philippe. This turned out so well and the skin tones and cloth are wonderful!  No, you are not the only one to do that....in fact, join the club!  Thank you for sharing, this is so lovely!  Paint on!

Wow, really well done. She looks about to speak.

Thank you everyone for your pleasant comments.

Deb, I used acrylic.

Karen Ilari says that's a forgiving medium. I fully agree. I must have done at least four versions (each one over the previous) of the face and the clothe. Am I the only one to do that ?

Hi Philippe, you have done a terrific job ! What medium did you use?

Wow - very nicely done!   I certainly agree with Linda that you have done a great job portraying this woman and the details are well done. This is a lovely portrait and I love your use of color here.

Beautiful! I just love the way you've painted this fine lady...her whole body looks to be proportionately correct...even her hands and fingers! The folds in her clothing are fantastic! The way you have the same colours in her clothing blend with the background colours is superb. Beautiful painting - congratulations on a job well done!!
