Well I made it back after a bout with Golfers elbow from shoveling snow .I did this one in oil cause i'm not quite up to doing acrylics just yet .I used three colors plus white and black,yellow ocher.burnt sienna and cobalt blue .I was mainly trying to get some depth in painting and working on getting rid of the bowling balls on sticks I call my trees >..

Hi Brian, Very nice! And glad your elbow is better.

Thanks for posting! I moved your photo into the body of the discussion by using the small photo icon in the toolbar above the comment box, instead of using the "Upload Files" underneath the box. I think it is easier to see and comment this way.

Were you working from a reference photo? If so and you want to post it as well it would also help :)

I'll think about this a bit and write more.

I haven't used any reference photos as yet but will give it a go in the near future .I just paint what comes to mind so far ...
